Diet adds that help you lose weight The May issue of Allure magazine included an article on things you can add to your diet to make weight loss more effective. It said that women do better when theyâre eating a lot of protein (at least half as many grams as their weight in pounds each day) and that in particular eggs are a great source of protein for people trying to lose weight. The story also suggests getting 25 to 35 percent of calories from fat, mostly the healthier unsaturated varieties.
