Be a Champions in Weight loss

The secret of the loss and weight maintenance unwanted off is a challenge as much psychological as physical.

Almost everybody can lose weight. But those who are kept off a rare
species. Their is nothing totally mysterious they remain thin
maintaining behaviors that have them there. They eat healthy foods,
reduce portion sizes and exercise.

But how, exactly, do they keep it up? The answer suggests an overhaul psychological as well as physical.

Diane Berry, a nurse practitioner and postdoctoral fellow at the Yale
School of Nursing, has conducted in-depth interviews with real
champions of weight loss: 18 women who had lost at least 15 pounds and
over 144 pounds, and all have kept away An average of seven years.
"Eighty-five to ninety percent of people regain all the weight they
lost within 3-5 years," Berry said, "if they were the real outliers."
Except one, the women were involved, whether as Weight Watchers or TOPS
program.

Models common jumped out of the women's success
stories. Each story began with a fragile: Before losing weight, she was
self-conscious, vulnerable and unaware of events that contributed to
the weight gain.
