At parties, we drink a lot of calories without realizing it. It is not alcohol itself as far as mixers.
Margarita mix? Loaded with sugar. Mojitos? The same. Consider using mixers, which are pure fruit juice, or food or club soda.
Try as gin with tonic water supply. Mix a mojito with sugar substitutes
and see if you can taste the way you want. Skip Key lime martini in
favour of a tradition or a martini Cosmo.
Mix wine club soda and add a slice of fruit for a wine spritzer.

That all sounds good, you say, but what I am the devil will serve for dinner?
Keep it simple, and you can not go wrong: the grilled meats. Marinara instead of creamy Alfredo or other pasta sauces.
Plain steamed vegetables are a must. Invest in a steamer, if you have
not already, or you can roast or vegetables sauteed in a little
vegetable oil - a tablespoon of olive oil goes a long way.
Watch your favorite recipes and give them a makeover. Enchiladas can be
made with flour instead of corn tortillas dipped in oil. Or they can be
done by the New Mexico-style segments in the pan between your meat and
cheese - no need for extra oil.
Re-make your favorite. Can you make lasagna with ricotta? Can you cook your chicken battered?
Substitute 2 percent yoghurt cream mashed potatoes, then add a teaspoon
of butter or truffle oil on each portion to give him a taste richer.
