Low Carb Diets Don't Work

A low carb diet can help someone lose weight, but it is only meant for extremely short durations because it is actually a very unhealthy diet overall. A low carb diet starves the body of its preferred fuel source, carbs. Instead it forces the body to use protein as energy which in turn forces the body to used stored fats as energy as well.
