Did you know that your body has to work eight times harder to turn foods rich in complex carbohydrates, for example, a fresh green salad, a bowl of oatmeal or a piece of whole-grain bread into body fat? On the other hand, fried foods such as French fries, (I know, I love them too), a large tub of hot, buttered popcorn at the movie theatre or at home, a bag of those greasy potatoe chips will move from your hand to your mouth, to your stomach and out into your bloodstream in a steady drip of body fat!
