Carbs or carbohydrates intake has become a buzz word with people who are conscious about their weight and especially those who have put on a lot of extra weight. Carbs play a pivotal role in both weight gain and weight loss. Carbs are basic ingredient of our daily diet and are virtually present in almost every food. Our body transforms these carbs into blood sugar which is a basic source of energy. One can only lose weight if he adopts a balanced carb intake plan.
